Ronald Mitchell (he/him/his) is Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Humanity Health. Over the past 20 years, Ron has built and managed technology-enabled consumer and enterprise SaaS businesses delivering talent development and workforce solutions. Most recently, Ron founded and served as the CEO of Virgil Holdings, Inc., a PE-backed company that owns and operates Hcareers, the leading talent recruitment platform in the hospitality industry and Virgil Careers, a career assessment and analytics platform. Prior to Virgil, Ron founded and served as CEO of CareerCore, Inc., an enterprise SaaS platform that enables organizations to scale executive leadership coaching. Previously, Ron was a General Partner of Provender Capital Group, LLC, a growth equity and venture fund making principal investments in media, financial services, and specialty retail sectors. His professional experience also includes Morgan Stanley, Mitchell & Titus, McKinsey & Co., and the Anschutz Corporation.
Ron has successfully developed platforms and technologies that deliver executive search, job board technology, executive coaching, assessment, and mentoring solutions to millions of individuals and many of the world’s most prestigious organizations and institutions. Ron is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying basketball, tennis, and golf; he also enjoys salsa dancing. He and his partner, Eboni Gates, are the parents of identical twin boys, Max and Trace. Ron earned a B.A. from Harvard College, where he was a three-time All-Ivy basketball selection and elected into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame. Additionally, Ron earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he served as the President of his class. He currently resides in Chicago.

Carolyn Simons (she/her/hers) is a Managing Director within Executive Search at Humanity Health, where she oversees executive and board search, account management, business development, strategic recruitment planning & delivery, and pipeline engagement. Prior to joining Humanity Health, Carolyn lead Pearson Partners International’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice, where she specialized in C-suite and board searches for healthcare, MedTech and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Previously, Carolyn helped to launch a Dallas-based, boutique executive search firm, serving as a founding member of the healthcare and life sciences practice, working extensively with private equity clients to build executive teams for their portfolio companies.
With more than 20 years of experience, Carolyn has successfully placed hundreds of CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Vice Presidents across the health care industry. Outside of work, Carolyn loves to cook, travel, read, hike, and play with her dogs. She also enjoys spending time with family and binge-watching series on Netflix. Carolyn is an active member in Women Business Leaders in Healthcare (WBL), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and MedTech Women. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago. Carolyn currently resides in the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Dubora Bennett (she/her/hers) is a Recruiting Coordinator within Humanity Health, where she supports our Partner Solutions/Executive Search team. Prior to joining Humanity Health, Dubora worked as Community Ambassador at Lloyd, a management service provider, and previously at CoVenture, a venture capital firm, as Operations Coordinator.
Dubora began her career in the non-profit sector, where she assisted with the development and management of academic enrichment programs and summer day camps in underserved communities. Beyond volunteerism, Dubora enjoys producing voice-overs, dancing, dystopian novels, and screenwriting. She is a proud New Yorker. Dubora earned a B.S. in Mass Communications from St. John’s University and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from City University of New York, Herbert H. Lehman College. She resides in Bronx.

Jessica Samuels (she/her/hers) is President of Humanity Health, where she guides, executes, and delivers our career acceleration services. Prior to joining Humanity Health, Jessica was Chief Learning Officer at Prossimo Global Partners, where some of her impact includes deploying an online learning hub of 20,000+ digital resources, and co-creating online courses, self-discovery assessments, custom e-learning modules, and a virtual mentoring program.
Jessica holds over 20 years of experience leading global human resources (talent management), product, education technology, and learning professionals at the Food and Drug Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, Booz Allen Hamilton, 2U, and other notable organizations. As a proud Marylander (who is obsessed with crabs), she enjoys most of her downtime with her amazing family, filled with lots of adventures and large family home gatherings. Jessica earned a B.S. in Health Education from George Mason University, an M.Ed. in Education Administration from McDaniel College, and an M.S. in Instructional Design & Technology from Towson University. She is an Ed.D. candidate of Baylor University’s Learning and Organizational Change program. Jessica currently resides in Maryland.

Katy Breuer (she/her/hers) is Executive Career Strategist for Humanity Health, where she partners with clients to develop their career vision, story and journey and connects them to opportunities aligned with their career goals. Prior to joining Humanity Health, Katy was an Executive Coach for 2U where she coached graduate students at multiple nationally recognized universities. She has been an Executive Coach for over 5 years and has 30+ years of experience in corporate leadership roles at Marriott International responsible for managing teams, developing leaders and directing large global programs. Katy served as Vice President of Global Operations Project Management leading a 45+ member team, deploying major initiatives across more than 6,000 hotels. Her prior experience includes leadership roles in operations, strategic planning, brand management, development finance and corporate finance.
She attended the Executive Leadership Coaching program at Georgetown University and has a PCC certification in coaching from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has certifications in Project Management (PMP), Program Management (PgMP) and Portfolio Management (PfMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and certifications in Change Management from ACMP (CCMP) and Prosci. Katy enjoys investing, bird/animal watching, mushroom foraging, fishing, and exploring genealogy. Ms. Breuer received an M.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University and a B.A. in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Katy resides in Virginia with her husband, her Labrador Retriever Georgia and three cats.

Matthew Alcalde (he/him/his) is the Director of People & Culture at Humanity Health, where he builds and supports a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about the career advancement of leaders that are BIPOC and/or women in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Prior to joining Humanity Health, Matthew led recruitment at several start-up biotechnology and healthcare companies as a Talent Acquisition Consultant for Deerfield Management, the nation’s largest dedicated healthcare investment firm. Previous roles Matthew has held include Vice President of Life Sciences and Healthcare at Coda Staffing, and Managing Director at Adecco Medical & Science.
Matthew has built a career around helping people reach their potential to land rewarding careers, including women in STEM and for students in underrepresented communities. Beyond this, Matthew gardens, camps, and engages in wildlife conservation initiatives. In his spare time, Matthew ventures deeply into True Crime podcasts and long reads about history. Matthew graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Rutgers University. He, his wife, son, and miniature rescue schnauzer reside in northern New Jersey.

Bryan Riley (he/him/his) is the Lead Software Engineer at Humanity Health, where he partners closely with the Director of Product and the Chief Executive Officer to deliver resilient technical infrastructure and scalable systems. Prior to this role, Bryan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sema4, building distributed systems for bioinformatic data, and was formerly a Lead Cloud Engineer at Inrhythm, creating payment process systems at Mastercard.
Bryan began his career in public service, eventually working his way up to Software Engineer for the Department of Information and Technology & Telecommunications (DOITT) for New York City. He enjoys learning languages, exploring international music, contributing to open-source software, and attending tea parties with his daughter and niece. Bryan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from City University of New York (CUNY), Lehman College. He currently resides in Brooklyn.

Stephanie Hague (she/her/hers) is a Recruiting Coordinator within Humanity Health, where she supports our Partner Solutions/Executive Search team. Prior to joining Humanity Health, Stephanie was Operations Manager for a highly specialized Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology executive search & recruitment firm which was recognized by Forbes as one of “America’s Best Recruiting Firms.”
During Stephanie’s free time, she enjoys being with her family, exploring new parks with her daughters, planning parties, and home decor. She also holds the title of “Girl Scout Troop Leader” where she finds happiness in creating special moments for her scouts. She holds a B.A. in Human Resources and Event Planning from Rider University. Stephanie resides in New Jersey.
